What makes a magazine

An art loosing its power over the people, though we still have magazines that educate in the right spheres of knowledge, they have been heavily out numbered. My university store has a shelf a magazines and its quite a big one. But they are full of music and pornographic magazines. I asked the store manager if he would sell the Times or the Economist instead, he told me that we tried to sell it but people don’t read them anymore, at least not the students.
He’s quite right, every small close buy store I run upto is full of crap, I don’t get it, aren’t people read to learn anymore? There would a leaping difference between educative magazines and crappy magazines at a ratio of 1:20, students are keen on celebrity gossip thus they would like to live like them when the shag week comes on December and they have some crazy parties, but when the CEO of Carphone Warehouse comes to university to make a speech, the place is a ghost town.
Even the weekly or daily magazines that talk about current fairs are now full of celeb gossip and endless adverts that take up 70% of the magazines pages. The plastic lifestyle of celebs like botox berkshire are now reaching the kids, the ones who even want to learn and read over surrounded by kids who only want to party and blow money on alcohol. It’s you make sure that your kid atleast has his head in the level and know the line between fun and stupid.
